Elizabethtown....the movie
I highly highly recommend this movie. I went and saw it the other night and it immediately catapaulted to the top 1 or 2 movies I've ever seen....EVER!
The soundtrack is awesome.
Take some time to explore the website, watch the trailers and clips. Listen to the music. Go see the film.
It's worth it. Trust me!
What weapons are featured and how many people get killed per frame?

There's a bunch coming out soon that I want to see. I saw "good night and good luck" the other night and really liked it.
I know I know, with me it's usually comedy,

The critics panned Elizabethtown. What does Jumper know that others do not?
Jumper watches a movie for the movies sake. Jumper does not care if Kristen Dunst is utilized to her full potential. Jumper also does not care if others think Orlando Bloom cannot act.
Jumper enjoyed the movie because it was a love story that was at times dramatic, funny, and heartfelt. The discovery of a father whom the son had heretofore not known was an unusual side twist to the overall romance between Bloom and Dunst. Oh...and the FreeBird rendition by Ruckus was hella cool!!!
Hey....bottom line is that Jumper enjoyed it. Enough to take D2 to see it tomorrow.
PS: Jumper was disturbed to see no bloodshed nor over the top violence. Jumper has written to Cameron Crowe and asked that this oversight be corrected.
The Big Sexy recently saw "In Her Shoes," most definitely a chick flick. He gives it two thumbs up, despite it being a rather lengthy movie.
And for guys who don't like chick flicks, you get to spend 1.5 - 2.0 hours watching Cameron Diaz playing the hot sister.

PS. The Big Sexy didn't like the first Star Wars. He saw it when it first came out in the theaters back in the 70's.

It's ok for a guy to do the occasionsal "chick Flick/Date Flick" even if you're flying solo.
At least until you are sitting by yourself watching beaches with a box of kleenex and a cosmopoliton instead of watching football or something. LOL! [img]eek.gif[/img]
